Spring is Springing Up in London

Spring is the season of new beginnings. From the first emerging daffodil to the spectacular displays of cherry blossom. If you choose to visit the daffodils at St James’s Park, take a stroll a little further and find a good spot to catch the age-old, traditional ceremony of the Changing Guard at Buckingham Palace. This popular event with young and old alike, usually takes place every other day but it’s good to check the schedule of ceremonies here to make sure that you don’t miss out. The whole event starts around 10:30am and lasts around 45 minutes.

The Diwali festival will be taking place on the 16^th of October. This celebration comes from the Hindu faith and so is mostly celebrated within India, however due to the multicultural society of London; the capital city decides to put on festival in the centre of Trafalgar square.

Even though this festival is traditionally celebrated by Hindus and Sikhs, that doesn’t limit who is welcome, Diwali is celebrated by people of all nationalities, races and religions.

Museums at Night
