
1880 Sample wine list
With an original date of 1880 when the building was first erected, 1880 takes its name from a building with an illustrious history. We have created exciting dishes from our inspired team borne from experience at some of London’s most exclusive restaurants and hotels’. As well as our infamous Grazing menu, we offer a delightful a la carte selection, tasting menus and fantastic accompanying wines.
We are delighted to welcome Executive Head Chef, Pier Paolo Saba who joins us from Harrods. Paolo was Head Chef at the Georgian Restaurant and Terrace Bar at Harrods for three years. His experience has included time at Gordon Ramsey’s Boxwood Café, Bibendum, Quaglinos and The Diplomat, the restaurant at the five star London Marriott on Grosvenor Square.
Our Sommelier has personally chosen a wine list which compliments each of the dishes, so as not to overpower the taste, but to add to the palate an exciting twist of notes.
The restaurant is open daily in the evening from 6pm with last orders being at 10.30pm. On Sunday and Monday we are closed, however we are available for private events during the day throughout the week and during the day/evening on Sunday and Monday.
Our award winning grazing menu is available in 1880 with a focus on some of the most interesting ingredients; partner this with our wonderful wine list which was recently voted as one of the top ten by the Evening Standard.
